All festival celebrations are a real fun affair at Little Orkids be it Diwali, Children’s Day, Independence Day or Christmas.
The children participate in large scale events like our Sports Meet, Annual Cultural Day etc. which gives them an excellent platform to show case their talents and become more independent and street smart.
Children at Little Orkids are given enough love and care which gives them a sense of happiness and joy. We help them build their self – esteem by appreciating them positively and constant encouragement helps them to be confident.
Play time gives them a lot of happiness.
1. We have Colour Days through out the year during which time the children come in a particular colour bringing same colour objects for SHOW AND TELL TIME
2 . Fancy dress is held throughout the year which have to be made at home with the child’s help. Prizes are awarded for the best ones
3. Project work is given in UKG.

By 3 years many children regularly do activities with other children. Some are clear who their friends are & can identify them.
By 4 years most children can differentiate between ‘my friend’ and other children.
We at Little Orkids teach friendship skills by
1. Encouraging our children to talk, listen and play together with other children.
2. We teach them to co-operate, wait for their turn, take turns, share toys and build blocks and build blocks together.
3. The children are taught to say
‘ Please’, ‘ Thank you’, and ‘I’m sorry’, to each other and to be helpful to those around them.
We have Activities which teach Friendship like:
1. Share and Care Day:
Students of every class on different days of the year bring snacks and cool drinks which they share with the children of the whole school.
2. Friendship Day:
On this day children bring friendship bands to tie on each other’s hands.
3. Valentine’s Day:
When every child makes a sweet little card for each other.

By sitting still and paying attention in a structured and nurturing environment prepares them for more challenging classroom ahead

Learning to recognise numbers and begin counting things helps them comprehend hoe math is used in the world and provides their foundation for each subsequent year’s more complex mathematical curriculum.

Through personal interactions, games and assignments.
